- Do you feel afraid or threatened by your partner?
- Do you feel unsafe at home?
- Do you fear for the life of your children or pets?
- Does he tell you everything you do and your ideas are stupid/dumb or not good enough?
- Does he tell you "he'll never do it again" when he hits you or yell at you and blame you for hitting you or his temper?
- Does he tell you "this time he'll change"?
- Does he tell you he will kill you or the kids if you leave?
- Does he threaten to take the kids if you leave?
- Does he threaten to mutilate the pets/kids if you do not come back?
